It’s that time of the year that I give out some of my favorite things. It’s my way of giving back to all my followers and clients. My way of saying thank you for all the L-O-V-E you are giving me. I never felt so loved and blessed with all the appreciation you guys gave me. I am not perfect, I don’t know what I did to be followed by my co-moms. all I know is that when I share things I write from my heart, I write what I learned and found my niche to share to you guys what worked for us.

For my second gift, I am giving this away because we actually use it. I am not, and again let me reiterate did not get paid for this post. I meet Jacq Ong of Vecirin late last year. His son Liam and my son Saffron are friends. Jacq and I don’t usually hang out at school before pick-up. Last year Mommy Jacq moved her kid to a different school, and missed the orange kiddie crew, it was supposed to be the time for me to get to know her, but it didn’t happen. Then one of our co-parent made a group chat and in that group we exchange mommy tips. In one of our many many conversations, we found out that majority of our kids are using the same soap and has the same skin conditions. Either kids has eczema or skin asthma. Jacq, then sent me Vcirin to try. Here’s what I have to say about this soap.

I started to use Vecirin last Sept 8, 2015 initially I was feeling a little weird cause the cleanser doesn’t make bubbles. My kids were, skeptic specially Saffron because He finds it weird that the soap we are using doesn’t make any bubbles at all. Found out that Vecirin has NO SLS or more commonly know as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, base on its literature SLS is a known skin irritant. Sodium Lauryl sulfate strips away the skins natural lipids, rendering it more susceptible to external irritants.

Its also my way of checking on the my kids skins (the usual, bumps, bites or whatever). I usually bathe them wearing bathing suit (I need to wear, cause while bathing them yaya is on stand-by, i need some dignity naman. hehehehe.)

Vecirin has no Parabens, base on its attached literature which means there is no artificial preservatives that has been in controversy for studies that say parabens are potentially toxic, linking it to cancer.

Vecirin is soap free, non-drying, non-comedogenic, ultra mild and france free. I was sold with the word non-comedogenic (I suffered with too much acne during college, too much that I hate to see taong grasa and basurero, I don’t mean to degrade or ridicule them, that’s not what i’m trying to say. In fact I envy them because, none of them have any pimples or even blackheads. As in ZERO and yet they sleep and deal with the dirtiest things. I envy them for their flawless skins. waaaaaaaaah!)

Fragrance free: This is base on my actual observations, whenever my kids uses those soap that claims to be mild, tears-free and for babies with mild scent (like watermelon, coconut, etc…) I noticed that they easily get mosquito bites. really!!! I have been observing that every-time I bathe them (yes! i bathe my kids. all 3 of them) using those soaps or hair wash they get mosquito bites, in weirdest parts, even while wearing frog suits. Then I noticed that everytime I bathe them using Vecirin (for 8 days now) not a single mosquito bite (pwera usog!!!!). I remember my Pedia Aunt Dra. Virginia Bustamante telling me before to avoid using so much cologne or perfume on me. She gave me that caution after i had 2-3 hospitalization due to dengue. She said, mosquitos are attracted to floral-sweet scents or in more lay-mans term they like “yung mabango” maybe because for one mosquitos are not housefly or langaw who are attracted to rubbish hahaha! kidding. then it came to me that my kids are mosquito bites free and because they are no longer using scented soaps and is 8 days free of using any mosquito patch and even those citronella sprays that I hoard from healthy options. I don’t know if this is pure coincidental or what but I am so happy that kids are bite free.
